I

The thought.

Every piece begins long before metal meets fire — in trend studies from the world's jewellery capitals, in a partner's brief, in a tradition waiting to be retold. At Mani Designs, our studio distils these currents into a single idea worth making.

II

The sketch.

An idea becomes a line. Our designers draw by hand first — proportions, stone placement, the fall of light — because a jewel that isn't beautiful in pencil will never be beautiful in gold.

III

The CAD.

The sketch is rebuilt to a hundredth of a millimetre. In CAD, every prong, gallery and channel is engineered — stone maps are locked, metal weights calculated, and the design is proofed from every angle before a gram of gold is committed.

IV

The model.

The digital file takes physical form — a grown resin or carved wax master, checked in the hand for balance and wearability. The mould it leaves behind is the piece's true signature: cast once, repeatable forever.

V

The casting.

Gold — yellow, white, rose or green — is brought to flame and poured. Trees of cast pieces emerge, are cut free, and every sprue and seam is worked away by hand — six precious metals, one uncompromising standard.

VI

The setting.

Under the microscope, setters seat each diamond — cut, colour and clarity matched from our own in-house graded stones. Prong, pavé, channel or invisible: the stone must sit as if the metal grew around it.

VII

The polish.

The final surfaces are brought to mirror. Then the piece faces our hardest audience — quality control — where loupe and gauge test every stone seat, hinge and hallmark before the house lets it carry the Mani name.

VIII

The shoot.

Before it travels — to a bourse, a boutique or a bride — every design is photographed in the studio. Light is, after all, the whole point: it is what our artisans have been arranging since the first sketch.
